Once you start up the hill from Rocky Creek (the bridges are gone for the winter, but you can still make it across), the trail quickly becomes buried under a few feet of snow, becoming fully buried just as you reach Moritz Meadow. Campsites can still be located, just follow the tramped down snow. A nice quiet stay with few people, just stayed overnight. The temperature got down to about 45.

More detail on the Snow?
Thanks for the report, did you make it to Park Butte and/or Rail Grade? ice pick, boot traction devices needed? Thinking of hiking it this weekend.
