So I was in the middle of the trip report when it posted without my pictures. So here goes again. Sorry, but the pictures are worth sharing. I love this hike for the views and the flowers, we were not disappointed. Both were spectacular! We hiked clockwise around the lake and had lunch on top behind the lake with great views of "the mountain". We had the place all to ourselves! Very relaxing and peaceful. Snow is packed and easily crossed with poles.

In the bottom picture this hiker is laying on the trail! No flowers were damaged in this picture!
