Very hot day to hike. Parking lot was very full when we arrived around noon. Few bugs at the beginning until we got to bridal falls; after not so bad. The first half as mentioned is pretty flat and well shaded. The second half has a little more exposure but once in a while a cool breeze would magically appear. tons of people at the summit; many swimming. I didn't but the water did look very cold!
