Drones in the wilds?
As cool as drone video is, it seems odd to me that a club dedicated to hiking would think it's a good idea to be flying a drone in an area where most of us go to get away from such things and attempt to not disrupt another's wilderness experience. You were fortunate that no one was harmed in the drone's crash and retrieval. Today's news includes the story of someone crashing a drone into one of the hot springs at Yellowstone. Let's use our feet, eyes, ears, handheld recording devices, courtesy, and common sense.
