Gold Creek Pond — Sunday, Aug. 10, 2014

Snoqualmie Region > Snoqualmie Pass

Wife and I wanted a less strenuous hike today. We searched here and found Gold Creek Pond. It was a very nice day for an early stroll around the lake. A little cool (47 degrees) but was not bad because the sun was shining. The trail is in very good condition, but for those who are less mobile we did notice some spots in the blacktop where roots have lifted it a bit. Not bad just be careful. The pond is really nice and the view of the mountains surrounding the pond made the place more scenic. The flowers are just about all spent for the summer now. I imagine they where amazing just a few weeks ago. This would be a great walk for those with a younger family.
