This hike is relatively easy and very rewarding for your effort. The trail passes under I-90 early on which is a really neat scene, plus there are multiple waterfalls on the way up to the lake, and a number of lakes to go swimming in (if you can handle cool water) once you reach the top.
We started around 11am and were overheating by the time we got to the lake, but clouds began to build and winds came up cooling it down quickly. Be prepared for changing weather in the mountains as we get later in the season. There might not be a lot of time left to enjoy this hike, so get out there while the weather is still nice!

Thanks for the report Ian. I'm headed up with some friends Monday. I've been planning to do this one for a few years now. Hopefully with the 85 degree weather we will enjoy the swim a little more!
