Issaquah Alps > Squak Mountain

Trail is lush with growth and there are lots of mushrooms coming up. There was a recently downed tree about a 1/3 mile up from the trailhead, but its mainly branches on the trail and we crossed over easily. We didn't make it to the peak, but the forest was gorgeous and bug free, so we enjoyed it. Saw a Downy Woodpecker, Red-breasted Sapsucker, and a Pileated Woodpecker.
