Just leaving Fort Ebey, I then decided to take Madrona Road which lead me into Coupeville. This town is charming! I was curious about the history and it's cemetery so I mapped it out and it took me to Ebey's Landing. What a pleasant surprise! There are 4 block houses built on this site, one of them is in the cemetery. There is a quick trail to J Ebey's house and large farmland that has an amazing view of the Olympics! This whole area was deemed the "Sunnyside Donation Claim (Hence the Cemetery's name). I will have to come back here and hike the trail down to the beach! ^_^
