Yakima Skyline Trail — Monday, Jan. 27, 2014

The road up to the gate was fine. The road after the gate was pretty bad--I would not recommend attempting it in anything less than an Outback (and take it slow). The trail was in good condition. We were hiking with small kids, so we only hiked to the top and turned back. The view from the top was amazing and would be even better on a clearer day. There were people hunting and target practicing near-by--it wasn't a problem, but if this sort of thing makes you nervous, you need to take this into consideration when selecting this hike.
