Went up at 1am today for a sunrise hike, perfect weather. Looks like there was a fresh snow on the trail since the last trip report. I would say to probably 1 - 1 1/2 feet of powder but the trail is well worn right now. Made it up just fine with waterproof boots but would recommend microspikes for the way down since there was a bit of ice on the trail.
There was also a little snow and ice on the road but nothing difficult to make it through.
Also, while up there saw what looked to be bear tracks and cougar tracks.
Beautiful hike, and it was popular today. Saw plenty of groups headed up as we came down.
