Central Washington > Tri-Cities
This is an awesome hike that is very close to the Tri-Cities. From Road 68 in Pasco head north until it turns into Taylor Flats. Follow Taylor Flats and take a left after the road ends on Ringold Rd. Follow it for a few miles until you reach a sign that instructs you to turn left towards Ringold. Once at Ringold follow the gravel road north until you reach a sign that says no automobiles. Hike a little over .25 miles on the road and then look right towards the bluffs. There is a very primitive trail that will take you on top of the bluffs. The primitive trail quickly turns to a nice dirt trail that takes you up through the bluffs with amazing views of the Columbia River, The Hanford Nuclear Site, and beautiful untamed wilderness. Keep an eye out for wildlife as there it is abundant in this area. While hiking we saw two very large coyotes taking a nap atop the bluffs. The hike for us was roughly a 7 mile round trip up through the bluffs and down to the river.
