We started the trail this morning around 11. The trail wasn't that bad, we had spikes and had an easy go of it. We saw people wearing tennis shoes and it looks like they were slipping around a little, but overall things didn't look too bad for them. The view from the top was great! There were some people out on the lake walking on the ice, I'm not sure that I'd be comfortable doing that though.
