Trip Report
Lord Hill Regional Park — Sunday, Mar. 8, 2015

Walked several of the loops at Lord Hill Park on this beautiful, sunny, Sunday morning. Total distance about 5 miles, just shy of 1000 gross vertical with all the ups and downs. Lots of folks out doing the same thing. Had a couple unfortunate run ins with off leash dogs, (one resulting in me nearly getting bit no thanks to the owner,) but did not let that spoil the walk. The first hatching of gnats must have just happened, a sure sign of spring, and I inhaled a few - >hack< >wheeze<. the="" views="" off="" southern="" view="" point="" are="" really="" nice="" one="" of="" better="" close="" in="" spots="" snohomish="" county.="" there="" sure="" isn="" much="" snow="" on="" anything="" but="" baker="" glacier="" and="" tops="" higher="" olympics.="" we="" had="" an="" adult="" raven="" pair="" playing="" breeze="" making="" all="" their="" funny="" speak="" not="" just="" more="" frequent="">grok,grok<. one="" other="" quick="" fyi="" there="" are="" more="" new="" trails="" on="" the="" east="" side="" of="" park="" that="" don="" appear="" to="" be="" official="" map="" yet="" nicely="" built="" but="" can="" cause="" a="" bit="" confusion="" opportunity="" just="" wander="" around="" longer.="">
