Trip Report
Lord Hill Regional Park — Thursday, Apr. 16, 2015

Definitely print out a map of the park from Snohomish county's website before you go. The mileage markers in the park are distance from the trailhead, so are very confusing. Also, there are many trails not marked on the map. Prepare to wander.
Due to tree growth, we saw nothing from the viewpoint on West View Trail. However, the other viewpoint on the map, on one of many "Pipeline Cutoff" trails, was spectacular.
There were many muddy spots and some water run-off (we hadn't had rain for a few days when we went). Near Temple Pond and Beaver Lake we encountered a few bugs, but they didn't bite.
There were a few horses and lots of families enjoying this park on a beautiful Friday.
