Snoqualmie Region > Snoqualmie Pass
Trailhead
After decades of beating around the Snoq Pass area summer and winter, I decided to try this little overlooked summit. I was pleasantly surprised. Summit views were great in all directions and the view west to Silver was esp fine. There are snow patches on the upper third of the trail, but nothing too bad. I brought microspikes and gaiters but never needed to use them. This is a recommended hike for a short day. Watch out for the road; there are some sneaky very bad potholes in the shady lower section. The TH had a small brown plastic stake with 1348 on it. I saw no other hikers on the trail. Time up was about 50 minutes and with a relaxed lunch break on the top still did the RT in 1:45.
