North Cascades > Mountain Loop Highway

Bring your own water. The seasonal streams are all but gone. Because of the exposure, the weather forecast over the next week, and the elevation gain, it's important not to underestimate your water needs. Trail is in excellent shape, and very easy to follow. Please remember to stay on the rocky parts of the trail, to preserve the fragile ecosystem near and above the treeline. Wildflowers are just beginning. There should be quite the show within the next few weeks. And enjoy the view. It's one of the best around :-)
