Trip Report

Little Si — Monday, Jun. 15, 2015

Snoqualmie Region > North Bend Area
View from the top
Little Si is a fun and short hike. However; don't let short deceive you, it is very steep in comparison to the length of the hike. Along the way, we saw lots of people on the way down (We hiked sort of late, as we intended to hike Mclellan Butte, but had the wrong pass). As it would suggest, lots of hikers means limited parking. There is a parking lot (It is an urban trailhead), but there was only one or two parking spot open when we arrived at noon. The hike only took a an hour and a half to get to the top. The views are absolutely amazing (from experience, the views from Big Si are a lot better, but you will need more time and endurance to scale it), and definitely a great hike to pack a lunch on. We enjoyed this hike, and had a lot of fun afterward as well. Nearby in North Bend, there is a little burger and shake shack called Scott's Dairy Freeze. A chocolate milkshake after a hike on a hot day is just blissful. Also nearby is Snoqualmie Falls, which has wonderful views just like the hike (of falling water, not hike-like things).
It's pretty steep!
