I hiked from the Smith Brook Trail up over Grizzly and down to the intersection of the Top Lake Trail. I was fortunate enough to see young grouse, pika, and a few marmots. The weather was just ideal, the lakes were crisp and a beautiful blue. There were no logs to cross, and overall the trail was just perfect.
