Snoqualmie Region > Salmon La Sac/Teanaway

The overspilling parking from the Lake Ingalls TH was too hideous to contemplate this morning, and a stream of cars were still arriving. What a great relief, then, to explore the Iron Peak trail entirely alone (until the 2 other parties at our return). Though not as charismatic as Ingalls, this gently-graded horse trail is a lovely walk through ponderosa and kinnickinnick, with extensive views from Mt. Rainier to Mt. Stuart. And, you can bring your dog on this one.
