Great hike up to the summit. Sadly, it was cloudy at the top, so we didn't get the view. However, the clouds gave it a cool mysterious vibe. Cold and very windy at the top, although most of the hike is covered under the tall pines and protected. Saw a huge grey owl. Only a few people on the trail. Got dark at 4:30, so start early. Took us 3 hours with breaks. Map my hike tracked 7.7 miles.
