Trip Report

Mount Catherine — Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015

Snoqualmie Region > Snoqualmie Pass
At least 3 miles left to drive to reach the trailhead.
Road to trail head has large trees down, not passable! If you chose to walk you'd have at least 3 miles to walk before reaching the trailhead. The snow at the point of closure is minimal. We did NOT continue onto the hike. We chose Rattlesnake Ledge.

Thank you for posting

I drove up on Friday, 11/20 and trees were blocking the road to the trailhead. Ended up hiking snow lake and it was beautiful. Great Hike!

Are trees coming from the uphill side?

I am trying to determine how difficult it would be to cut/clear the trees in order to bypass. Do you remember if the trees fell from the uphill side? It's hard to tell from the pictures. Thanks!

JanW on Mount Catherine

Yes, the trees fell from the uphill side. They shouldn't be too hard to remove if you have a chainsaw.
