We wanted to take Gold Creek Road to Lake Lillian/Twin Lakes, but found a barricade about 2 miles down the road. We turned around and headed to Gold Creek Pond. I had no idea this little hike was even up there! We took a side trip up the Gold Creek trail which shoots off from Gold Creek Pond, but came back and finished up the sweet loop around the pond. There was patchy snow on the path, but it wasn't slippery or hard to cross.
