Yellow Lake — Friday, Jan. 8, 2016

Issaquah Alps
Yellow Lake
Great hike for those with mobility limitations. Went around 9am and my husband who uses a forearm crutch handled the hike fine. The path is wide in most places, and though it's a gravel road it's hard-packed, not loose. Saw a few other hikers and trail runners out, but mostly had the trail to ourselves. The lake was frozen all the way across. Viewing dock has traction areas which were a big help as the wood was slippery.
Morning fog over the frozen lake
Ducks landing on the frozen lake
Sun coming through the trees
