A semi-quick hike for those who want to make it outdoors but are short on time (approximately 2 hours with some minor exploring). We however, decided to skip the falls and keep right on most of the forks. Four miles in we decided to turn around as it became quite boring. The small creeks are cool to listen to, I recommend wearing waterproof shoes/boots if you have them as you will cross numerous streams. None causing you to caulk the wagons and float.
One thing I would stress to first timers on this trail is to know exactly which forks to take. As there are no signs at any of the forks you may end up heading the wrong way if you're goal is to see the falls. On the weekend when the trail is packed this shouldn't be a problem.
