The trail, which is an old dirt road, starts on the north side of the road. Across the road you can also hike into Echo Basin. Once on the trail take the first fork to the right and follow it all the way up the coulee to the falls. If you want a quicker access to the falls, you can park on the side of Vantage Road east of the trailhead and hike down to base of the falls from there.
