Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area
mossy tree
Beautiful mossy green amble down to Snohomish River (5.4 mi RT). Shared the road/trail several times with folks on horseback which only added to the lovely ambiance. The river was quite full and flowing fast. Not much wildlife there except 1 pair of common goldeneyes. Trail very very very muddy in places, especially the shortcut to the river (avoided that on the return trip judging the extra 0.3 miles to be worth it).
utterly green
hanging ferns
horses on trail
