Lord Hill Regional Park — Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016

Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area

The parking lot was overflowing on this sunny Saturday but plenty of room in the park for everyone. Pretty walk in the woods with lots of moss, mushrooms and lichens. Plenty of mud on the trail. I enjoyed the squish under my boots but my daughter was able to keep her sneakers clean by sticking to the edge of the trail. I can't remember if the groundhog saw his shadow this year... the woods are telling me spring is just around the corner.
