It's a nice little trail to hike and is one of the few convenient to get to from Pullman. Kamiak Butte has some very interesting ecology if you are into that sort of thing, though I would recommend going in the summer so you can actually see the abundant species of vegetation if that is your intention in hiking this trail. The trail was a bit muddy in places, especially on the southern slope, but it wasn't bad enough to cause any major issues.
