Schmitz Preserve Park — Saturday, Mar. 5, 2016

A muddy walk on a rainy March day. This park is still excellent, and feels as if it's been that way for centuries. Babbling streams, blooming wetland flowers, Schmitz is everything you could ask for in a city park. The signage requesting that people and dogs stay off of the native plant life borders a tiny bit on the passive-agressive side, but that's forgivable if it does the job of protecting this beautiful little hike.
