Our return trip to this beautiful park. If you're new to it you'll find the views are surprisingly pretty. We started on the main trail and hiked up to the 630' viewpoint for a leisurely break, then back via Beaver Lake. The trails are in decent condition, but there's plenty of mud everywhere - it's particularly sticky and deep around the Beaver Lake area. We saw hummingbirds, woodpeckers, and a lizard on the trail. The parking lot was over half full at 9:15am, and overflowing by the time we left at 12:45pm.
