Took a last minute trip Saturday for this hike, not reading a whole lot about it. Arrived at about 11:00, plenty of parking. From there it got a bit confusing, but now reading the intro, I see where we went. We essentially took the trail right behind the outhouse (labeled Tin Mine Trail). It is steep start, and lots of confusing Y's. We kept going to the right, to the right, to the right. One we hit a T, we went to the right again, through a clearing and logged road. Once entered with a Y again, we took the sharp left, up to a viewpoint. Beautiful view of the lakes and nobody was on this path. We decided to go back to where our T was and continue on from there. This part was pretty flat, but very pretty trail. Ran into some horses and other hikers here. Found out we were then on the Tin Mine Trail and got to see the mine and kept going. There was a creek we had to cross, got our feet a little wet, ran into the Gold Creek Trail, and when turned to go back to parking lot, it said we were on the Davis Trail, so I guess we did the TinMine to the Davis. I still really don't know, but all in all it was a big loop, probably about 5-6 miles. Lots of big bumble bees, but they left you alone.
