The snow level begins at the cutoff between the longer, summer route and the more direct gully route. I took the summer route because that's the way that I know the best. There was a mostly-melted bootpath that I followed. I found one slightly exposed section that I made sure not to fall, but the rest was easy. At this point I was glad that I had my poles with me.
The two routes combine near the open, southern flank for a good path to the summit.
I was leaving the summit with two people who had taken the gully route. They said that there were some sketchy snow bridges and -- after asking about the conditions I found -- decided to return via the summer route.
With the warm weather the conditions are probably changing daily. Be wary of the summit cornices.
