Left on Friday after work for the trail head from Poulsbo and arrived about 6:00 PM. We decided to just hike into Spike camp for the night arrived about 7:30. One other family camped and lots of bugs! Woke up early and continued to 9-stream (10 mile camp). We saw five black bear between Saturday and Sunday (3 Saturday and 2 Sunday) small elk herds on both days as well. Weather was perfect a bit overcast with very few sprinkles of rain. Be aware that the bridge crossing over to 9-stream camp is gone! We had to get very creative in order to get across to camp i.e. jump, ford or a very small tree down river.
