June 5, 2016 Got up to the trail-head at 9am. Had very little company at this time. Made a little over a mile and a half, crossing a few small areas that still had snow before having to turn around because the trail disappeared into a size-able snow field. There were a few groups braving it but I was not brave enough. At this point stopped for a snack on the highest point near by and hiked back. Was rather crowded on the way back, if you are going to hike this trail I would suggest doing it early.
