North Cascades > Mount Baker Area

(THE BRIDGE IS UP!) We arrived at the trailhead late in day to find many groups of hikers and climbers descending the trail to a tightly packed parking lot. Small snow patches had to be crossed starting in the meadow and there was a lot of mud and water on the trail past the meadow prior to Rocky Creek. Some of our party didn't have waterproof boots so we decided to stop at Rocky Creek and enjoy the view of Mt Baker. The bridge is up, but the snow above kept us from proceeding.
