I'm a beginning hiker and this trail was amazing... The views were so gorgeous, the water was very clear, and there were two railroad tunnels that were beautiful. We started at camp David Jr. Entrance and drove until we couldn't anymore and it was about 5 miles round trip. Great for dogs and kids especially if you start at the other end.
