Kelley Creek via Martin Creek Trailhead — Friday, Jun. 10, 2016

Central Cascades > Stevens Pass - West
Fun work party with Evonne. The trail-building now starts 3 miles from the trail head. The trail that exists is in good shape, not too difficult, although there are some steep sections. Beautiful trees, creek, and waterfall on the way in. There is columbine blooming now. Even if the connector trail is not yet done, this is a really fun out and back in a lovely valley. Our group of 5 volunteers chopped back a tree stump, set a rock step, smoothed out tread, and dug out duff where the new trail will be.
