Olympic Peninsula > Hood Canal

Short (< 1 mile?) even trail that has a little bit of everything (except elevation). It starts out at an open park, goes through a shaded forest that's incredibly pretty, transitions to a road that will take you down to the beach, and then continues onto a bluff that overlooks the beach and leads you down to a small lovely lagoon. The beach can be driven to directly as well - there's quite a bit to explore down either side and apparently a great view of the mountain on clear days (a bit too cloudy on this day for that, unfortunately). This is a great walk/hike if you're camping at Fort Flagler or if you're just up in the Chimacum area. I would recommend stopping by the Chimacum Corner Farmstand for snacks before walking this and the beach in the morn and then heading over to the new Finnriver Orchard for lunch (uhhhmazing pizza, oysters, and cider).
