Skyline Divide — Saturday, Jun. 25, 2016

North Cascades > Mount Baker Area
Arrived at the trailhead around 12:30pm from Bellingham to a full parking lot. The forest roads are covered with potholes but our ford focus made it up just fine. The trail leading up to the ridge was only dotted with mud and the occasional patch of snow near the top. We made it to the ridge after about an hour and found camp overlooking the valley. The views at night were spectacular but it got pretty chilly so make sure to bring layers. There was only one decent source of water for filtering before you got to the ridge so make sure you bring enough. Absolutely great, easy hike to do in the summer as the weather gets better.
