Reached the park entrance at 1pm. The dirt road from the main road was in great condition. A park ranger directed us to the upper parking lot, as the lower parking lot was full. Had lunch at the picnic area, and followed some of the short social trails along the edge of the canyon. Lots of people everywhere (including quite a few who appeared to be competing for a Darwin Award)...
