Mount Rainier Area > SW - Longmire/Paradise
My mom and I hiked here. When you get to about Glacier Vista you will start to hit some serious snow. It can be difficult to do without poles, so be careful if you don't have them. When you get to Panorama Point there is even more snow and you are forced to take a longer, upper route. We did not go farther than Panorama Point, but it looks possible as long as you take it slow. By the way, sliding or sledding on the snow is illegal in Mt. Rainier National Park at the moment because it almost always takes you off trail and you can hit wildflowers that are trying to grow up through the snow. It was a beautiful hike, and we took some great photos of the mountain.
