Annette Lake — Wednesday, Jul. 20, 2016

Snoqualmie Region > Snoqualmie Pass
Annette Lake definitely took my breath away! The hike had a lot of variety and with a 20 lb pack it was a nice training hike. Great weather, not too hot and enough tree cover to be very pleasant. At the lake it was easy enough to find an area without a lot of other hikers. There were plenty of little spots to get to the shore and have lunch and let the dog swim. Bring sandals if you want to wade in the lake, the rocks are sharp! We went early enough that the trail was fairly clear of other hikers until afternoon when we started going back down. With the number of people I saw on the way down, I doubt I'd do this hike on a weekend unless I didn't mind being close to a decent number of other hikers for the day.
