Lena Lake — Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016

Olympic Peninsula > Hood Canal
Trail views
The four of us went on this hike Saturday around noon. It was easy to find and there was parking available alongside the road. If you don't have a pass you can purchase one at the trailhead. We hiked paying close attention to the trail, if not, we would trip on the rocks or tree roots. The weather was about 70 and overcast and was great for a hike. The trail became more populated after 2 pm, but it wasn't congested. I went with our two kids ages 11 and 2. They enjoyed the hike and the views of Lena Lake. I recommend this hike if you have children or dogs. I hiked having my son on my back; when he walked the trail he would trip occasionally. Facilities are available near the campsites.
