From the parking area at the intersection of the logging roads and Stossel Creek Way, we went downhill almost to the lake and then back. The logging road is hot and dry, the scenery was uninspiring or clear cut, and there are invasive non-native plants EVERYWHERE (if that sort of thing bugs you).
Upsides: the children found some thimble berries and himalayan blackberries to eat.
