Olympic Peninsula > Kitsap Peninsula
Great Horned Owl, by Joshua Hansen
This is a lovely little network of trails with nice variety of forest & terrain despite its fairly humble size. Trails are nicely maintained and quiet even when the parking lot is full. Black bears have been sighted in the past, and I've seen horned owls and large pileated woodpeckers on my walks here. With some planning, one could cover most of the trails and get all the variety this place has to offer in 2-3 hours.
