Tolmie Peak Lookout - Eunice Lake — Friday, Sep. 16, 2016

Mount Rainier Area > NW - Carbon River/Mowich

I shaved one mile off the hike by parking at the side of the road next to the Tolmie Peak sign (about 0.5 miles from WTA's parking directions). The hike was simple, and easy to breeze through. The hike itself had steep up and downs both ways, and it also had the same amount of flat as well. I didn't encounter a lot of people on the trail, but there was a lot of people at the look out once I got to the top. People mostly lingered at the top for a while, and the look out was open. It was a beautiful hike. Try doing this hike on a cloudless day because the views were spectacular!
