Naches Peak Loop — Sunday, Oct. 2, 2016

Mount Rainier Area > SE - Cayuse Pass/Stevens Canyon

What a beautiful and easy hike! I was the first one on the trail, with boots on the ground at 8am. I only saw one other group my entire hike. Mt. Rainier was hidden but still hiked the loop clockwise. Fall foliage was beautiful. The trail was a bit frosty in places, but it was all melted by the time I made it back to the parking lot around 10am. Would definitely go back again and add Downey Lake to the loop.
