Bridal Veil Falls — Sunday, Oct. 9, 2016

Central Cascades > Stevens Pass - West
Bridal Veil Falls by rockettb
Directions: Follow signs to Lake Serene. Trailhead is the same. Take fork on dirt road to the right. Obstacles: you have to cross/ford several creeks. One area was difficult mostly because there was rushing water next to a small drop off. Some people were taking their shoes off. We went with the jump rocks and don't look down approach. Tried to not over think it and trust ourselves. Be careful with kids. People made it to the top with kids but I'm guessing there were multiple piggy back rides. Falls were amazing. Difficult to capture photos due to vantage points and the spray. I recommend bringing a rain coat. Water resistant pants and shoes were a plus so we could get super close to the falls without getting completely soaked. Shout out to my Marmot GorTex rain coat and prAna Halle pants for keeping me dry!
