Iron Peak, Beverly Turnpike — Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2016

Snoqualmie Region > Salmon La Sac/Teanaway

The original plan was to head to Iron Peak via the De Roux Creek Trailhead. There was too much snow on the road, and about 4 miles out from the TH our SUV got stuck. After digging out the tires and putting on chains, we turned around and headed up the Beverly Turnpike Trailhead instead. Due to a late start, we didn't get more than a few miles in before we had to turn around. For anyone that heads towards Bean or Earl Peak, you'll have about 2 to 2.5 miles of a nice boot path that should make it much easier to reach them.
