Excellent hike! Would recommend snow shoes with good grip, or the snow spike attachments as it gets very icy and slick on some steep parts of the trail.

Trail gear

Hi there
I am new to winter hiking. I just ordered my first pair of spikes and wondering if that would be sufficient. Would you also recommend poles/snowshoes?
